Well, folks! Someone I met today for the first time told me that if I wanted to between 1 and 2
am", she said, to stop the prostitution of underaged girls and go toe-to-toe with 16, 17 and 18
year-olds to stop them from pimping the young girls. Well, she obviously does not know me. I
go toe-to-toe with 16-18 year-olds everyday. Indeed she has no idea how much violence, theft
and murder I have had to stop single-handedly in my city, nor how many young girls I have had
to retrieve from the streets. Frankly, she didn't care to know.
So, I went. I walked and drove up and down Fruitvale Ave. I also walked from 42nd Ave and E.
14th to 29th and E.14th. No sign of she nor any of the ladies she claimed would be there
clearing the streets of underaged prostitution, no sign of underaged prostitutes. Still, I planted
one of my signs on Fruitvale, as a sign that I'd been there.
I do not know if this was a test or not; but I do know that this is my city, and I go where I like! I
fear no man. I fear God. So, if that was a test, you must come harder than that Mrs. Lewis.
As the kids say, "Ya betta ask somebody."

Thanks, Anita. I met her at a meet and greet at the 57th Street Art Gallery on
Telegraph yesterday. I wish you had been there. Nevertheless, I am glad people, such as
yourself, are still arround and know what I do.
Still, she will probably never know that I am also an adocate for the wrongly accused or
imprisoned, nor that I have and will go to court and write letters on their behalf. As I said, this is
my city, and, large or small, I will continue to champion the cause of justice here.
I will be there again next Saturday.
